Michigan Diversity “Summer” Study Abroad Scholarship
Today’s students must become “global” citizens in order to have opportunities to advance in life and to understand the world around us. To enable diversity students in the Metro Detroit area to have this opportunity, AFS Intercultural Programs is offering a $3500. scholarship toward one of AFS’s many summer programs. Who can apply?

- A student interested in learning and living another culture
- A student who is between the ages of 15-18, have a 2.8 GPA, and is in good mental and physical health
- A student who will be a good youth ambassador for the USA and currently lives in the Metro Detroit area
When and How to apply?

- Now is the time to apply! Michigan Diversity scholarship is a need and merit based scholarship for students in the Metro Detroit area only.
- Go to AFS/USA’s website at www.afs.org/usa to start the process. All summer programs are listed and described on the AFS/USA website.
- DEADLINES ARE FAST APPROACHING!!!
